About this job

Our client, Millennium Challenge Account Zambia (MCA-Zambia) has been established under the laws of Zambia as a company limited by guarantee, designated by the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) as the Accountable Entity to implement the Lusaka Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage Project. This has been funded by the United States of America, acting through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). The Compact agreement between MCC and GRZ was signed on May 10, 2012.

 

 

 

MCA-Zambia seeks to recruit a Monitoring & Evaluation and Economics Director who will report to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer. The purpose of the job is to lead all M&E and Economics efforts for the Compact in order to measure results and inform decision making based on evidence.

Duties

 

 

CONTRACT DURATION: From the time of reporting up to 15th November, 2018 with a possibility of an extension for four (4) months only.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree (Masters or higher) in Economics, Statistics or a related field including coursework in advanced Economics and Statistics.

 

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Ten (10) or more years of related experience, including approximately seven (7) years managing teams that conducted quantitative and qualitative analysis of programs. This experience could be gained working for government authorities, donors, universities, civil society organizations, or private firms.
